Ross is an energy professional and chartered engineer with over 16 years’ experience of design and technical advisory for the built environment and industry. Ross is part of the Net Zero team at SFT and focuses on carbon reduction in the public sector estate. The Scottish Government launched their Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard in 2021.

This voluntary Standard supports public bodies to meet their net zero commitments for their new build and major refurbishment building projects. Ross will provide an overview of the aspirations for the Standard, how it is applied in practice and how it can support public sector organisations to take the right steps in their current new build and major refurbishment projects.
