An overview of how CSIC facilitates and delivers collaborative projects which support organisations and individuals working in the built environment in navigating the transition to net zero.

Emma is an Impact Manager responsible for delivering outcomes within the Sustainability Programme, encompassing embodied and operational carbon reduction targets. Emma has a particular focus on energy and heat as priority areas, driving the construction and built environment sectors towards net zero. She holds a degree in Energy and Environmental Management, through which she has developed extensive knowledge of traditional and renewable energy technologies. In addition to technical expertise, she has extensive learning around policy, energy regulation and social science influences in the Scottish renewable energy sector.
